Antitrust

Emilio joined Deloitte Legal in 2020 as head of the Antitrust and State aid practice. Emilio has a significant experience on a wide range of competition law areas, including cartels, dominance issues, State aid, merger control, distribution contracts, horizontal agreements, IP/antitrust interface, unfair commercial practices.

Emilio regularly assists clients in administrative proceedings before the European Commission and the Italian Competition Authority on antitrust and consumer law matters, as well as in judicial proceedings before the competent EU and Italian courts.

He has extensive experience in designing tailor-made antitrust compliance programs.

Before joining Deloitte Legal, Emilio was Counsel at a top-tier law firm.

Of Counsel and Head of Antitrust

Emilio graduated from the University of Palermo (Full Mark) with a thesis in international law and is enrolled in the Italian Bar Association since 2006 (admitted to practice before Italian Supreme Courts since 2019). He has authored several publications on competition and EU law, including:
