Amy has particular experience in contentious matters with a regulatory, public law or economic aspect, having been centrally involved in acting for a number of regulators in cases concerning challenges to regulatory decisions, supervisory and enforcement actions and investigations, in particular acting for a number of regulators across different industries, including the Data Protection Commissioner.

As part of her work on complex commercial and regulatory disputes, Amy often advises on data issues which arise in the context of litigation such as data protection and the protection of commercial sensitive information, as well as also increasingly advising on data protection disputes and investigations more generally, particularly since the introduction in 2018 of the GDPR.

She is co-author of the Ireland chapter for the 2018 edition of Thomson Reuters “International Execution against Judgment.”
