Career

Benedita is a managing associate in the Public Law practice and she has around 20 years’ professional experience, focusing on the areas of administrative law, public contracts, public procurement and planning, including litigation.

Benedita’s experience also includes advising clients on regulatory matters in various sectors and dealing with concessions for public works and services, and for the use of water resources, particularly in the context of expropriations.

Benedita regularly participates in conferences and as a lecturer on matters of administrative litigation, public procurement and the environment.

She has completed postgraduate courses in administrative litigation and in public procurement at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto.

Before joining PLMJ, Benedita was a lawyer at Cuatrecasas and JPAB - José Pedro Aguiar-Branco & Associados.
