Juán Gómez graduated from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ, 2008), has a postgraduate degree (LL. M.) in Procedural Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV, 2011) and a doctorate degree in Public Law with emphasis in Procedural Law from Universidad de Burgos, Spain (UBU, 2016).
