Position

Partner at Sołtysiński Kawecki & Szlęzak. He specializes in intellectual property law and IT law; he is particularly interested in all legal aspects related to software, both with regard to the enforcement of IP rights by software producers but also in relation to IT outsourcing projects and licensing issues. For over 15 years he’s been a local legal adviser to the Business Software Alliance, an international organization of leading software producers, which he assists in its efforts to improve the enforcement of software copyright.

Education

He received his Master's degree in law from the Adam Mickiewicz University Law School in Poznań in 1996. He also completed the Post-Graduate Course in International Trade and Business Law, International Commercial Arbitration and the Law of the European Union at Asser Institute in The Hague in 1997. In 2002 he was admitted to the bar.
