Søren Lundsgaard was born in 1960. He became partner in Fisch-Thomsen & Partners in 1991 and in Bruun & Hjejle in 2006, before founding his own litigation boutique, Lundsgaard & Partnere, in 2011. Søren Lundsgaard is head of the business areas Litigation, Insurance and Tort Law and works primarily in these fields. He has extensive litigation experience and is among the most sought-after litigators for court proceedings, including before the Supreme Court. He also works extensively within arbitration, including as a judge in arbitration cases and as head of legal inquiries. Søren Lundsgaard is a popular tutor and speaker at courses and conferences.

Head of the ethics committee of the Association of Danish Law Firms (2014- ). Facilitator for JUC Network for Indemnity, Liability and Insurance. Member of the Danish Supreme Court Bar Association, the Copenhagen Bar Association, the Danish Bar and Law Society, the Danish Arbitration Association, and the International Insurance Law Association (AIDA).
