About Aditi is a competition lawyer, who completed her LL.M from Queen Mary University of London in Competition Law in 2019. Prior to joining JSA, she worked with Wadia Ghandy and Co., Mumbai focusing on real estate and litigation matters. She represents and advises companies on a broad range of competition law related aspects including cartel and abuse of dominance investigations, competition law issues in commercial agreements, dawn raids and cartel leniency. On the merger control side, she advises complex transactions and advisory mandates in relation to structuring to ensure competition law compliance including review of transaction documents, information exchange between parties & due diligence.

She handles competition law related litigation before the CCI, Delhi High Court and the Supreme Court. Aditi has also authored articles and contributed to domestic and international legal journals.

Experience Some of the key assignments handled by Aditi amongst others, cover the following: Competition Litigation: • Represented South Asia LPG Company in an abuse of dominance investigation before the Supreme Court. • Representing Oriental Rubber in a cartel investigation before the CCI and Delhi High Court. • Represented a paper manufacturer in a cartel investigation before the CCI.

Merger Control: • Multiples Private Equity/ BDR Pharmaceutical (2022) • TVS group restructuring (2021) • Goldman Sachs/ ReNew Power (SPAC) (2021) • Tata Power in the acquisition of stake in Odisha electricity distribution companies (2021). • Sundaram Asset Management in the acquisition of stake in Principal Asset Management Company and others (2021). • Prestige Estates Projects Limited in the acquisition of stake by Blackstone Group (2020)
