Career

With over 20 years of experience, André is a founding partner of CGM and responsible for the competition, administrative law, compliance, and regulatory practices. He represents numerous Brazilian and foreign companies before governmental bodies and agencies in connection with practically all matters involving competition and public law. He has been involved in many of the highest-profile antitrust investigations conducted by local authorities since 2003, with significant experience in representing companies investigated for cartel practices. In administrative law, he assists clients before the Federal, State and Municipal Accounting Courts through various bidding processes and in investigations filed by the Public Prosecutors’ Offices and the Office of the Federal Controller General on issues of administrative misconduct and anti-corruption legislation. Since 2010, he has led several cases involving internal investigations related to compliance issues and corporate ethics.
