Antony Walsh

Antony is a partner in our corporate group and focuses on global m&a and structuring projects for major corporates, often for businesses in the industrials and/or technology sectors and increasingly the convergence of those two sectors. Antony’s 20 year m&a experience is particularly centred on undertaking rest-of-world mandates for us and european headquartered businesses - doing deals for those companies all over the world and often on a cross-border basis to a us-centric standard, as regards terms and service. On the industrials side, antony typically leads on major cross-border acquisitions and disposals, often purchasing complimentary global businesses or carving-out divisions for sale or listing, and project managing these complex transactions. Increasingly antony has supported major listed industrials businesses with acquiring technology start-ups and smes as part of the global drive towards digitisation. Antony’s technology deals are often helping founder entrepreneurs realise their investment or helping major corporates buy-up interesting technology. In both contexts, antony supports clients with bridging cultural and organisational-scale gaps to ensure deals get done to the right standard and antony benefits from seeing both sides of the spectrum. , Eversheds Sutherland (International) LLP
