Daniel is a principal associate in eversheds sutherland's financial services dispute and investigations group and part of the pensions disputes team. He deals with disputes on behalf of financial institutions and pensions disputes, as well as providing advice to financial institutions on internal investigations and regulatory issues. His recent experience includes advising the trustee of a pension scheme in high value equalisation proceedings referred by the court of appeal to the court of justice of the european union; advising the trustee of a pension scheme in the first substantive hearing of the pensions regulator's anti-avoidance powers before the upper tribunal; advising a leading bank on a significant internal investigation and remediation exercise; and handling complex high value professional negligence claims for financial institutions and trustees of pension schemes.
