Matthew C. Dewitz is a partner in the New York office of Latham & Watkins. His practice focuses on corporate and partnership taxation.  Mr. Dewitz has experience representing private equity funds, investment banks, real estate investment trusts, venture capital funds and other public and private companies on matters including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, tax-free reorganizations, joint ventures, distributions, other recapitalizations, and debt and equity financings in both the public and private markets.
