Abigail has a busy personal injury and clinical negligence practice and is regularly instructed both to advise and attend hearings.
Abigail also regularly attends inquests involving a broad range of matters and is experienced dealing with the types of issues that arise in such cases.
Abigail has been junior in a number of cases. Most recently appearing as junior to Howard Elgot in the Supreme Court case of Barton v Wright Hassall [2018] UKSC 12 a case involving issues regarding compliance with civil procedure rules, service and litigants in person.
Abigail became a tenant in chambers in October 2015, having completed pupillage under the supervision of Richard Copnall, Corin Furness and Stuart Jamieson. During pupillage, Abigail was involved in a variety of complex personal injury and clinical negligence cases, and a number of inquests and associated civil actions.
Abigail is an active member of the Parklane Plowden Under 10 Years Call Team and regularly gives seminars and talks regarding topics touching on all areas of her practice.
