Abhimeet Sinha has nearly two decades of post-qualification legal experience and heads firm’s reputed Banking & Finance and Infrastructure, Projects & Energy practice. He has been instrumental in establishing firm’s forte in Government advisory, renewable energy, infrastructure and electricity sectors.

Abhimeet has advised both the borrowers and the lenders in connection with legal and regulatory framework governing the project finance transactions, due diligence, drafting, and negotiation and vetting of loan and security documents, including ECBs, inter-creditor issues, complex security structures and general corporate issues. Abhimeet is a trusted counsel for drafting, negotiation and review of financing and security documents including Domestic and Foreign Currency Loan Agreements, Escrow Agreements, Trust and Retention Account Agreement, Security Trustee Agreement & Hypothecation Agreement, Mortgage related documents, Share Pledge Agreements, and Cost Overrun Agreements.

He has been commended by the clients for his sharp legal acumen and business sense while drafting/reviewing of the Concession Agreements, Bid Documents, RFQ, RFP and other related documents. Abhimeet also conducts due diligence of bidders’ credentials for a number of esteemed Government organizations.

He also provides regulatory support to clients in terms of compliance with the Electricity Act 2003. He has demonstrated excellence in advising reputed Government and private sector organizations in infrastructure sector and Indian banks and financial institutions in project finance transactions.
