Ben specialises in M&A and has particularly strong expertise in transactions involving investments or disposals by institutional investors such as private equity funds, infrastructure funds and other alternative assets funds. Prior to joining WKB, he was a partner at the leading Australian law firm Freehills (now merged with Herbert Smith), and has substantial experience in a range of international transactions, having acted for some of Australia’s most active and prominent investors with international investment programmes. He participates in many of the firm’s cross-border deals and is a keen participant in activities of the private equity and venture capital investment communities.
