Jakub advises companies active in the regulated insurance and energy industries. He represents clients in judicial and administrative proceedings, including in disputes concerning insurance compensation, loss of brokerage fees, and D&O insurance. He provides advice on terms and conditions of insurance, insurer’s liability, and compliance of foreign terms of insurance with Polish legal requirements. With regard to energy sector clients, Jakub’s assistance includes, among others, advice on tariffs, as well as transmission, distribution and purchase agreements. Jakub is the author of numerous publications on commercial insurance and energy law, including the Commentary to the Act on Renewable Energy Sources. He is also a university lecturer.

Jakub graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland, where he was also awarded the degree of doktor habilitowany in law. He also completed postgraduate studies at the Polish - French Insurance Institute (ENAss-PIU), specializing in insurance.
