Sylvie graduated from the Faculty of Law, Masaryk University (1998 - Mgr., 1999 – JUDr.) with additional doctoral studies at the University of Economics (2004 – PhD.). She also studied at University of Oxford (1998-1999), Hague Academy of International Law (1997) and completed five-month educational stay at the Court of First Instance of European Communities in Luxembourg (2003).
