Position

Nick is a partner specialising in international arbitration and commercial litigation. He regularly represents clients in arbitrations under institutional rules, including under the rules of the LCIA and ICC, and in ad hoc proceedings. Nick also has extensive experience of conducting proceedings before the English High Court including obtaining freezing injunctions and managing enforcement proceedings.

 

Nick represents clients in international disputes across a wide range of industry sectors, including natural resources, aviation and banking and financial services. He regularly advises on shareholder actions, joint venture disputes, disputes arising out of complex financing arrangements, and fraud and asset tracing claims. Many of his cases concern interests held in Eastern Europe and Central Asia (including Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Georgia) as well as interests held in off-shore jurisdictions such as the BVI and Cayman Islands.
