on judicial practice and ways to protect business reputation, honor and dignity
of individuals and legal entities.
On December 13, 2016, Head of
Litigation group Victor Petrov and Associate at Technology
and Investment group Dmitry Borodin led a workshop on Protection of goodwill: current
controversies and practical solutions, for major Russian and foreign
companies.
VEGAS LEX experts spoke about
the legal regulation of ways to protect the honor, dignity and business
reputation of companies and individuals, discussed the current situation with
the consideration of claims and studied some litigation cases. The lawyers also
explained what the court accepts as evidence in protection of goodwill cases; described
the role of expert investigation and cases where it is required; and gave
details of how court orders in favor of the plaintiff are executed.
