The Polish Bank Association has just published the PolishCloud 2.0 Standard, i.e. a standard for the implementation of public and hybrid cloud computing services. This is the most recent and comprehensive set of practices and solutions guiding banks smoothly through the cloud migration process, with the highest security standards applied.
The PolishCloud 2.0 Standard frames the current tasks, procedures, processes and analyses to be carried out and documented by banks preparing to implement cloud services, and includes example documents to guide banks and financial institutions during their transition to the cloud.
The publication of the PolishCloud 2.0 Standard has been produced in accordance with the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, and clarifies the requirements and guidelines contained in the initial version of the Standard published in March 2020.
The PolishCloud 2.0 Standard is a joint preparation of the Polish Bank Association, the Electronic Banking Council, the Banking Technology Forum, and numerous cloud service providers and consulting companies, involving over 50 experts in total. The working group was advised by Kochański & Partners, represented by: Szymon Ciach, Senior Associate and Legal Group Coordinator, and Maciej Kuranc, Associate, from the Technology Practice.
