Our M&A team, led by Pawel Mardas, assisted Klima Energy, the Spanish Alantra Group VC fund, in their PLN 70 million investment into SunRoof. Sunroof is a Polish-Swedish start-up, offering pholtovoltaic roof panels to produce green energy for powering homes, in countries including Poland, Germany, Sweden and Norway.
Our work involved conducting a due diligence of SunRoof, drafting and negotiating transaction documentation, and proceeding with the closing of the transaction.
To date, the SunRoof Group has attracted numerous funds and private investors. The funding raised will help strengthen the company’s position in the Swedish, German and Polish markets and ensure its further international expansion.
Klima Energy is a fund investing in ventures geared towards developing renewable energy sources. Its total capitalisation exceeds EUR 210 million.
