This first acquisition of a company in Poland was a key objective in the Bunzl’s expansion, bringing the number of countries in which Bunzl is present to 32.
Our advice included comprehensive legal assistance – preparing, negotiating and signing the transaction documentation. Clearance from the Competition and Consumer Protection Office is still required for the transaction to be finalised. The project was led by Jakub Wieszczeczyński, Partner, supported by Cezary Pernet, Associate, from the Corporate and M&A Practice. Also involved in advising Bunzl were Jarosław Łukawski, Partner, and Jan Siesicki, Associate, from the competition law team, who prepared documentation for the Competition and Consumer Protection Office, and Grzegorz Sprawka, Partner in the Tax Practice, who advised on tax aspects of the transaction.
