International law firm CMS has expanded its Corporate practice in Singapore with the appointment of Gerald Licnachan as Partner. Gerald joins from Reed Smith.

Gerald advises on a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate finance transactions, business and investment structures, commercial contracts, and corporate governance. He advises a diverse range of financial and strategic investors including conglomerates, family offices, private equity and venture capital firms and has extensive experience in the energy, natural resources, infrastructure, transportation and impact investment sectors.

Gerald has a wealth of experience acting on the full life cycle of cross-border deals across Asia and emerging and frontier economies, including Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, India, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.
