AKD appoints new partners and counsel

AKD has appointed three new partners and once new counsel. The newly appointed partners have demonstrated over the past few years to have made valuable contributions to the growth of our firm, having provided their clients with innovative and successful advise in their various fields of expertise.

Menno Hendriks specialises in the civil-law aspects of real estate, with a strong focus on construction and tenancy law. Menno’s expertise in tenancy law focuses on issues at the interface with public policy law, education law and the Heating Supply Act.

Nikee Groot is part of AKD’s EU and Competition Law team in Brussels. She specialises in procurement law, State Aid law and the private enforcement of competition law. Nikee litigates both before Dutch courts and the European Court of Justice.

Rolf Everhardus advises Dutch and international businesses on national and cross-border insolvency and restructuring issues. Rolf advises on and litigates over many topics, including D&O liability, financing and securities, and purchases/restarts after bankruptcies. He is also regularly appointed as a bankruptcy trustee.

Aukje van Griensven has been appointed counsel. Aukje specialises in commercial real estate transactions and has experience handling the complexities of transaction practices in relation to private real estate.
