GSK Stockmann provided comprehensive advice to Unmüssig Bauträgergesellschaft Baden mbH on the acquisition of the SilberburgQuartier in Stuttgart and the planned remodelling and development of the ensemble.
Unmüssig was supported by a GSK Stockmann team led by Munich partners Andreas Eichler and Kerstin von Staa.
The SilberburgQuartier is located in the west of Stuttgart, in close proximity to the city centre and the main shopping street, Königstrasse. The property at Silberburgstrasse 175-177, Reinsburgstrasse 17 and Marienstrasse 50 comprises two office buildings and a residential building with a total lettable area of approximately 7,200 sqm. The seller is an institutional investor.
Unmüssig plans to revitalise part of the ensemble in accordance with resource-saving and EU taxonomy-compliant standards before re-letting it. The remaining part will be completely redeveloped to meet the DGNB Gold and WiredScore Platinum standards, with office space and a café/restaurant concept on the ground floor. Overall, this modern and sustainable development project with a total of 11,000 sqm of lettable space will revitalise the square at the corner of Silberburgstrasse and Marienstrasse.
