The law firms E+H and AKELA are pleased to announce the successful execution of a remarkable transaction: The Munich-based investment company VTC,represented by E+H, has acquired a majority stake in the Austrian scaleup Wood_Space. Wood_Space will receive a double-digit million amount of capital as part of the financing round.

The E+H team was led by partner Josef Schmidt, supported by associates Alexander Koschell and Anna Friedrich. Jana Eichmeyer and Karin Köller also provided support in employment law, Clemens Lanschützer and Alexander Moser in real estate, Helmut Liebel and Lukas Weber in IP/IT, and Georg Knafl in public law. Judith Feldner conducted the merger control audit. On the AKELA side, the transaction team was led by partners Christiane Feichter and Martin Kollar.
