Carbon trading is one of the mechanisms in the management of carbon economic value to achieve the Nationally Determined Contribution targets and control the greenhouse gas emissions

, and one of the means that can conducted to do it is by organizing the carbon exchange. Since the enactment of PR 98/2021 to the MoEF Reg. 21/2022, the Government has provided overviews toward the implementation of carbon trading through the carbon exchange.
