Barun Law LLC has been honored with the 4th Korea Legal Awards in Litigation.
The awards ceremony of the 4th Korea Legal Awards was held at Lotte Hotel, located in Sogong-dong, Seoul, on June 16, 2021, and Attorneys Myung Su Suh and Do Hyoung Kim of Barun Law’s Finance Group was honored with the award in litigation for their effort in obtaining a favorable judgment in a case that was filed against Korea National Oil Corporation seeking for return for compensation for “failure of Yemen oil field” and thereby presenting new standards for disputes involving projects on resources development.
The Korea Legal Award is jointly organized by Money Today and the Korean Bar Association, and this year’s ceremony was jointly hosted by Money Today’s The L, Naver Law (Legal N Media), Korean Bar Association and the Seoul Bar Association. The Korea Legal Award honors law firms and the relevant lawyers who have achieved meaningful results through their effort during the previous year in the areas of litigation, public interest, arbitration and legal advice.
Previously, Barun Law has been awarded the Korea Legal Awards for two consecutive years, in 2018 and 2019.
