Brenda Ntambirweki joins BHSM LLP’s Corporate Team as a Senior Associate. She has extensive cross-border experience in public and private M&A in the Middle East and East Africa, having spent a decade in the Corporate / M&A team of a leading law firm in Kuwait and a few years prior to that practicing with leading law firms in Uganda.
Brenda is ranked as a Rising Star in M&A for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region by IFLR1000 and has previously been ranked by Chambers & Partners Global as Expertise Based Abroad for Uganda in General Business Law.
Brenda’s cross-border experience includes cross-sector general corporate advisory, corporate re-organisations, structuring transactions, preparing merger control applications and post-acquisition advisory. Brenda routinely advises on venture capital transactions, advising founders on launching emerging companies across industries as well as investors on investment in funds and in early and growth-stage companies.
Brenda also has experience and a keen interest in aviation, having advised aircraft owners, arrangers, airlines, asset financiers, lessors and lessees on local and cross border aviation finance and lease transactions, including secured lending, pre-delivery financing, operating leases, purchase and sale of multi-aircraft portfolios and sale and leaseback transactions.
