Binder Grösswang advised Nordstjernan AB and Etac AB together with Gernandt & Danielsson on the acquisition of all shares in KLAXON Mobility GmbH.
Klaxon was founded in 2015 and specialises in the development and production of power assist solutions for people in wheelchairs.
Etac, a portfolio company of Nordstjernan, develops and supplies market-leading, assistive devices for people with disabilities and patient mobility products. The company has a turnover of EUR 350 mio and employs more than 1,300 people and sells in more than 70 countries.
The Binder Grösswang core team consisted of partner Philipp Kapl (lead), senior associate Vilma Kivilahti and associate Matija Bernat from the Corporate / M&A team. Further team members were associate Armin Nimmrichter (Regulatory), partner Christian Wimpissinger, associate Manuela Wenger (Tax), partner Horst Lukanec, senior associate Elena Rathmayr (Employment Law) and counsel Hellmut Buchroithner (Intellectual Property and Information Technology).
Binder Grösswang advised Etac together with the Swedish law firm Gernandt & Danielsson, with a team led by Mikael Borg, Pierre Olsson, Mikael Nagy and Vanessa Sidlo. Chiomenti advised on Italian law aspects with a team consisting of Giulia Elisabetta Uboldi and Lorenzo Vergari.
