Charles Russell Speechlys today announces the appointment of Simon Le Wita as a Partner within the Firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution department. Simon joins the Firm’s Paris office from French firm, De Pardieu Brocas Maffei.
Simon has extensive experience in domestic and international commercial, banking, and financial litigation and ably advises clients on shareholder and post-acquisition disputes, as well as contract and tort litigation. Simon is similarly well versed in debt restructuring, insolvency, and bankruptcy matters. He advises French and foreign companies in all industry sectors, from credit institutions and investment funds to insurers, real estate companies, and suppliers.
Much of Simon’s work has an international framework and he is renowned for his strong appreciation of the wider legal and cultural background in which foreign lawyers and their clients operate. Simon has developed a strong international litigation practice and is regularly involved in enforcement and asset recovery cases as well as risk management. He has also developed extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution including arbitration and dispute prevention.

Simon’s appointment closely follows the arrival of Francis Ho who joined as a Partner within the Firm’s Construction and Infrastructure group last month.
