Niederer Kraft Frey advised Cortexia SA as Swiss counsel on its financing round subscribed by Bloomhaus Ventures AG, Spicehaus Partners AG,Kurrant Ventures and existing investors, including Remondis Digital Services and Capital Risque Fribourg. The financing round was closed in December 2023.
Cortexia develops and commercialises AI-powered “smart city” solutions, notably in urban cleanliness management. Cortexia’s technology has already been adopted by cities like Basel, Geneva and Frankfurth, with clients including Veolia and Suez. The firm’s technology platform enhances cleaning service quality and significantly reduces resource usage and environmental resource usage and environmental impact. The funds raised will fuel its international growth and allow Cortexia to explore new application domains.
