Senior Partner and Co-Head of Cross-Border Litigation, Dmytro Marchukov, has been recognized by Who’s Who Legal: Commercial Litigation for the fifth consecutive year and for the third consecutive year – as the Thought Leader. Less than one fourth of all ranked Commercial Litigation practitioners were selected for inclusion in this year’s Thought Leaders list.

During almost 19 years of his career in law, Dmytro Marchukov has represented sovereigns, corporates and private clients in close to every kind of dispute resolution including national and cross-border litigation, transnational insolvency and receivership, asset tracing and recovery, fraud investigation, enforcement of mortgages and pledges (including against shareholdings in Ukrainian companies), contentious inheritance and divorce, commercial and investment arbitration under the major institutional and ad hoc rules, as well as recognition and enforcement of foreign judicial and arbitral awards. In addition to the regular counsel work, significant part of his caseload are Ukrainian law expert witness instructions. In such capacity Dmytro Marchukov has acted in civil and criminal proceedings in the US, the UK, British Virgin Islands, Monaco, Cyprus, and Switzerland, as well as in arbitrations under the ICSID and LCIA rules.

In 2023, in addition to Commercial Litigation, Who’s Who Legal also recognized Dmytro Marchukov as Global Elite Thought Leader in Asset Recovery (the only such lawyer from Ukraine) and recommended him as one of just two Ukrainian practitioners in Commercial Mediation.
