Niederer Kraft Frey advised Gasverbund Mittelland AG, the leading procurement and grid company of natural and biogas to the Plateau and Northwestern regions in Switzerland,
on the raising of a EUR 250 million syndicated credit facility focused on securing the provision of gas as well as capital expenditures and investments as a replacement of the existing credit facility. UBS Switzerland AG acted as arranger, agent, fronting bank and lender together with other financial institutions as lenders.
The NKF team was led by partner Philip Spoerlé (M&A/Finance), working with associate Reto Seiler (M&A/Finance) and partner Markus Kronauer (Tax).
