Gütt Olk Feldhaus advised ARCUS Capital, Start Now and the founders of BitterLiebe, Jan Stratmann and Andre Sierek, on the sale of their shares in the BitterLiebe Group to Vendis Capital.
Both founders will remain with the company as managing directors and will continue to hold a minority stake together with ARCUS Capital,
Established in Mannheim, Germany, BitterLiebe group is a leading distributor of dietary supplements in the DACH region. Founded in 2018, the company quickly gained recognition following its successful participation in “Die Höhle der Löwen”. Since the acquisition in December 2020, ARCUS has made a significant contribution to BitterLiebe’s success.
Munich-based ARCUS Capital AG focuses on majority investments in the DACH region. ARCUS invests its own capital as well as the capital of selected co-investors. The company portfolio currently consists of industrial, media and online companies with a total turnover of around €300 million.
GOF regularly advises ARCUS on transactions, including the acquisition of BitterLiebe in 2020.
