In August 2018, JunHe was proud to announce the establishment of its 12th office, in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province.
Last year, at the opening of the Qingdao Office in 2017, Mr. Xiao Wei, Managing Partner of JunHe, spoke of JunHe’s strategy and planning, and revealed that, “as well as our Qingdao office, our next step is the intention to enter into other fast-developing, second-tier cities, so we are well positioned to provide comprehensive and quality legal services to support the economic activity in a greater number of cities.”
It turns out that the “next step” referred to by Mr. Xiao Wei is Chengdu, one of Forbes’ “Global Fastest Growing Cities of the Next 10 Years.”
Over the past few years, Chengdu has gradually grown from being just one of China’s many inland cities to establishing itself as gateway to the country’s potentially massive southern and western markets.
The establishment of the JunHe Chengdu office will undoubtedly inject greater strength into the legal service market in Chengdu.
