Justus Jansen has been elected as the law firm’s new Managing Partner with effect from 1 July 2024. Katy Ritzmann will be the new spokesperson for the Corporate division on the firm’s Management Board. In addition, Oliver Glück has been re-elected as Managing Partner for another three years.

Justus Jansen will be joining Oliver Glück as Managing Partner with effect from 1 July 2024. His appointment underlines the firm’s strategic objectives to strengthen its corporate practice and continue to position GSK Stockmann as a German-Luxembourg corporate law firm with an international outlook. Justus Jansen has extensive experience working at the international level, particularly in the areas of corporate law, litigation and arbitration.

Justus Jansen is succeeding Uwe Jäger, who chose not to stand for re-election after two terms of office.

Re-election of Oliver Glück ensures continuity in the firm’s strategy

The re-election of Oliver Glück as Managing Partner for a further three years ensures continuity in the development of GSK Stockmann’s strategy and demonstrates the partnership’s confidence in his expertise.

“We wish Oliver Glück and Justus Jansen every success in their roles as Managing Partners,” said Marcus Peter, Chairman of GSK Stockmann’s Partner Council. “At the same time, we would like to thank Uwe Jäger for his dedication as a member of the firm’s management team over the past few years. Our firm is ideally positioned to meet the challenges ahead in terms of digitalisation and new advisory services, as well as to achieve further financial success and to innovate where necessary. This is also supported by our increasingly international outlook with growing offices in Luxembourg and London.”

Katy Ritzmann as new Corporate spokesperson

There has been another change to GSK Stockmann’s Management Board. From 1 July 2024, Berlin-based partner Katy Ritzmann will be taking over Justus Jansen’s previous duties as spokesperson for the Corporate division. Katy Ritzmann’s main area of practice is in the VC and PE sector and she also has extensive expertise in IP and IT law. Together with the two Managing Partners and the Management Board, she will focus on the strategic development of GSK Stockmann’s corporate practice. Her expertise in digitalisation will also be invaluable to the firm’s overall strategy.
