Once again, The Cyprus Fiduciary Association (CFA) selected our law firm to present another specialised and highly demanded seminar, the “Advanced Directors’ Workshop”, which took place on 30th November and 1st December 2017 in Nicosia and Limassol respectively.
Our Senior and Managing Partner, Mr Stavros Pavlou analysed the various challenges and concerns surrounding the role of Directors in today’s vibrant corporate environment. The Directors’ duties and liabilities were presented and particular emphasis was given on substance aspects, relevant legislation updates, sanctions and restrictive measures, exchange of information, anti-money laundering concerns, CRS and FATCA considerations and many others.
Our law firm’s Limited Partner, Mrs Stella Strati, who joined the panel, actively participated in the discussions around the real case study scenarios and responded to questions, while explaining the practical perspective of the matters involved.
A big thank you to Renaissance Insurance Brokers for a successful cooperation in joining us in this event and for evaluating the Directors’ and Officers’ liability insurance.
We are extremely pleased to notice such a great interest and enthusiasm on the subject coming from the professionals who attended the workshop and we are proud to have fulfilled the objectives and learning outcomes of the seminar.
