Kochański & Partners has advised Inovo Venture Partners VC fund on a transaction involving the acquisition of shares in technology company SunRoof. The investment was made as part of the seed round extension, with Inovo being the lead investor. Other investors participating in the round included other VC funds: SMOK Ventures, LT Capital, EIT InnoEnergy, FD Growth Capital and KnowledgeHub, and also local and international business angels.
Work on the transaction involved a due diligence investigation of the SunRoof companies and negotiation of an investment agreement and shareholders’ agreement. The legal team working on the project comprised: Paweł Mardas, Szymon Balcerzak, dr Katarzyna Barańska, Piotr Gałka, Tomasz Szambelan, Anna Golenia, Michał Giżewski, and Sebastian Woźniak.

SunRoof is a company offering installation of environment-friendly solar roofs. The group includes a Swedish holding company and companies in Sweden, Norway, Poland and Germany.
