LNT & Partners is honoured to have advised Okura Industry Co., Ltd. (Okura) and its business partner, Inabata & Co., Ltd. (Inabata), in their recent investment endeavours. We assisted them with pre-investment land and environmental due diligence, as well as negotiating and drafting contracts for a 5-hectare land lease in the Sai Gon – Chan May Non-Tariff and Industrial Zone. This land lot will be utilized by the joint venture to operate a manufacturing facility specializing in plastic products. Leveraging the industry expertise of both partners, the joint venture aims to establish a vital link in the product chain for both parties.
Led by our Corporate/M&A Partner, Mr BUI Ngoc Hong, and our Associate TRAN Phan Phuong Tri, we provided guidance to help navigate the Vietnamese regulations in land and environment protection regarding manufacturing business in Vietnam. Furthermore, the team drafted and negotiated the key contracts including the lease agreements, to secure the joint venture’s foothold in Vietnam to implement the investment project.
