Wanhuida Intellectual Property is delighted to announce that the team of professionals from the Beijing-based IP boutique China Smart IP Ltd. will join Wanhuida on 20th February 2024.It brings an addition of ten people to Wanhuida’s patent practice, further strengthening its expertise in the areas of mechanical and electrical engineering, telecommunications, chemistry, and biopharma.
Daniel Jiang, the Managing Partner of China Smart IP Ltd. will join Wanhuida as a Partner. He will be based in Wanhuida’s Head Office in Beijing, serving as a co-chair of its Patent Prosecution Practice.
Educated in Canada, Daniel holds a Master of Engineering from University of Regina and a Bachelor of Engineering from McMaster University. He is licensed both as a patent attorney and an attorney-at-law in China. He also has experience in the United States, Japan, and Europe. We are confident that our clients would benefit from Daniel’s expertise in patent prosecution and litigation in China and his broad knowledge in patent laws and practices in other jurisdictions.
