Berlin, 26 April 2023 – Sonic Healthcare Germany has signed a binding agreement to acquire Medizinische Laboratorien Düsseldorf (MLD). MLD is one of the leading laboratories in the Düsseldorf area,
covering the entire spectrum of modern laboratory diagnostics with 13 specialists and over 300 employees at various locations. MLD focuses on providing laboratory services to hospitals and physi-cians in private practice, and its cooperation partners include major hospital groups in the region.
The transaction is still subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory clearances, and is expected to close before year-end 2023. Raue is advising Sonic Healthcare on the regulatory aspects of the transaction.
