GSK Stockmann is welcoming corporate M&A and private equity expert Robert Korndörfer as a new partner at the firm. From 1 November 2023, he will be joining the team at GSK’s Berlin office, where his expertise will support the further expansion of the firm’s advisory services in the areas of corporate M&A and private equity.
Robert Korndörfer (40) will be joining the corporate law firm as a partner from 1 November 2023. The private equity and corporate M&A specialist will be leaving Noerr, where he has worked since 2012 at their Berlin, London and Munich offices, and in recent years also as a partner. He advises national and international private equity houses and strategic investors on mid-cap transactions with a focus on financial services, (energy) transition investments/infrastructure and digital business sectors. In his role at GSK Stockmann, Robert Korndörfer will also be working closely with the firm’s London office.
Since the opening of the firm’s Luxembourg office in 2016, GSK Stockmann has placed a strong focus on complex private equity, venture capital and real estate transactions structured via Luxembourg. With the opening the London office last year, the firm is also directing its attention to advising international investors based there. The cross-border M&A expertise that Robert Korndörfer as well as another new partner Anna Gassner bring to the table will help to expand the the firm’s range of advisory services at the international level. Anna Gassner joined GSK Luxembourg as a partner on 1 October 2023.
