Saraf and Partners (S&P) acted for and advised Paytm group in the strategic acquisition by Paytm Cloud Technologies Limited (Paytm) of 25% stake in Seven Technology LLC, the parent company of Dinie Correspondente Bancário e Meios de Pagamento Ltda. (Dinie), a dynamic, API-first embedded finance start-up in Brazil. The acquisition marks Paytm’s entry into the Brazilian market.

By partnering with Dinie, a company enabling digital financial services for MSMEs, the deal allows Paytm to extend its proven technology-led merchant payments and financial services model into a high-potential international market. The transaction underscores Paytm’s commitment to leveraging its expertise beyond India and solidifies its ambition to establish a global fintech footprint.

S&P acted for Paytm group on all aspects involved in the transaction including deal structuring, drafting & review of the transaction documents as well as providing assistance in closing of the transaction. The transaction team at S&P was led by Sahil Arora(Partner).
