Schoenherr advised P&I Personal & Informatik GmbH on the acquisition of 100 % of the shares in VRZ Informatik Gesellschaft mbH (Dornbirn) and its sister company ThinkCreateAct AG (Switzerland). The transaction is currently subject to the condition precedent of regulatory clearance. With the acquisition of the VRZ Group, P&I AG is expanding its presence in Austria and Switzerland.

VRZ Informatik is an IT system house with the business divisions basic infrastructure, software development and payroll accounting, based in Dornbirn, Austria. Founded in 1965 as the Vorarlberger Rechenzentrum, a joint RZ for the Vorarlberg economy, the company has been a service provider for payroll accounting for more than 50 years and has been developing its own software for more than two decades. In 2013, a repositioning under the brand Ally Lohn took place, shortly followed by the presentation of the online solution Ally Personal.
The Schoenherr team was co-led by Christian Herbst (partner) and Maximilian Lang (partner), and further consisted of Volker Weiss (partner), Alfred Amann (attorney at law), Marco Thorbauer (attorney at law), Michael Woller (partner), Teresa Waidmann (counsel), Nina Zafoschnig (associate) and Daniel Neuwirth-Riedl (associate).
