Schoenherr advised ZECH Bau Austria GmbH, a German owner-managed construction company, on the acquisition of Implenia Baugesellschaft mbH’s building construction business in Austria by virtue of an asset deal. The closing of the transaction is currently subject to merger control clearance.

With the acquisition of Implenia’s building construction business in Austria, the Zech Group takes an important step in expanding its activities in the Austrian market. Schoenherr advised Zech in all legal aspects of the transaction, including corporate law, real estate law, tax, employment and antitrust law.
