Schoenherr named Austria M&A Legal Adviser of the Year by Mergermarket

Schoenherr was awarded the “Austria M&A Legal Adviser of the Year” by Mergermarket at the European M&A Awards Gala on 31 March 2022.

Once again, Schoenherr’s excellent M&A performance has been acknowledged by the leading business intelligence provider Mergermarket. Only a few weeks ago, Schoenherr again achieved excellent results in Mergermarket’s league tables – with extraordinary rankings for over a decade now.

Some of the most noteworthy M&A transactions Schoenherr has advised on during the reference period include Starwood Capital Group’s public offer for CA Immo, Cerba HealthCare’s acquisition of Lifebrain Group from Investindustrial, and Sanofi’s acquisition of Origrimm Biotechnology.

The Mergermarket European M&A Awards commend advisors who have played leading roles in transactions in Europe over the past year. Firms are nominated for these awards based on Mergermarket league table analysis, and only the top firms by deal volume and value are selected. The winners are selected by a panel of judges consisting of board members from leading banks and investment firms, as well as prominent academics and lawyers.
