Stelios Americanos & Co LLC completed a successful visit to China, having met with clients and partners and participated in two conferences in Shanghai and Beijing in October/November 2016.
Following a successful visit to China in May, 2016, Stelios Americanos & Co LLC made a second trip to China, in order to participate in two conferences in late October, and early November 2016, in Shanghai and in Beijing. The Firm was represented by Len Judes who spoke about and presented the Cyprus Citizenship and Permanent Residency by investment programs.
Len was joined, once again, by Gregory Torok, the Firm’s in-house consultant who is a fluent Chinese speaker, and his assistant, Claudia Cheng.
In meetings held in and out of the Conferences, existing contacts were met and acquaintances strengthened, as well as establishing new ones. Collaboration agreements were signed with Chinese and Singaporean partners. Further reassurance of the Firm’s professional service was gained by feedback from its Chinese counterparts who expressing satisfaction of the fact that we were representing a professional service, rather than promoting a specific real estate development in Cyprus, looking for investment which would then enable possible obtaining or Cypriot Residency or Citizenship. The business or economic neutrality, while providing a “one stop shop” to clients (assigning them in finding the suitable investment for their requirements), was highly appreciated!
The Conferences were well attended by hundreds of local and international professionals, lawyers, accountants, family office managers, financial consultants etc. Matters discussed at the Conferences related specifically to wealth preservation and future generations’ management of business and assets, in the ever changing global and local Chinese regulatory and financial reality. Foreign (second) citizenship and residency options are highly sought and the interest in such services is significant.
The legal firm was delighted to strengthen its ties and build new relationships with partners, culminating into the signing of a few collaboration agreements. The Firm is convinced of the Chinese and Asian markets to be of significant potential and will continue pursuing them, as evidence of the commitment to the new partners and clients, as well as to further grow the client base.
