Tanner De Witt, a leading Hong Kong law firm, announces the retirement of Partner Jeff Lane from the partnership as of 31 May 2024 but is also pleased to announce that Jeff Lane will continue with the firm in a consultant role. The firm is also proud to announce that Partner Troy Greig will succeed Jeff Lane as head of the fraud and asset recovery practice.

After years of dedicated service leading the firm’s fraud and asset recovery practice, Jeff Lane has decided to move into retirement but will continue as a consultant at Tanner De Witt. Jeff Lane’s wealth of experience and expertise will continue to benefit the firm and its clients in his new role. His dedication and contributions have been instrumental in the firm’s growth, and his transition to a consultant is a testament to his ongoing commitment to the firm’s success.

Taking over from Jeff Lane as head of the fraud and asset recovery practice is Troy Greig, who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the position. Troy Greig has demonstrated exceptional skills and leadership throughout his tenure at Tanner De Witt, making him the ideal candidate. The firm is confident in Troy Greig’s ability to guide the team and continue delivering excellent legal services to clients.
