in competition abuse cases, and how the authorities consider the most common
types of violations in this area in a webinar they led jointly with Pravo.ru.
On September
26, 2017, lawyers of the VEGAS LEX Commercial group, Anastasia Cheredova and Ksenia
Podguzova, conducted a webinar on Defense
Strategy in Abuse of Dominance Cases.
The experts
gave recommendations on practical aspects of interaction with FAS Russia at the
stage of antimonopoly proceedings in such cases; discussed procedural issues of
antimonopoly cases and common practices used by FAS Russia and courts; looked
at the regulator’s typical mistakes in argumentation with practical cases as
examples; explained the main rules antimonopoly authorities use for analyzing
the state of competition; considered the various types of economic analysis applied
by FAS Russia, and their application in specific cases.
