SINGAPORE COURT RECOGNIZES FOREIGN INSOLVENCY ORDER BY WAY OF RELIEF UNDER THE MODEL LAW AFTER RECOGNIZING FOREIGN-MAIN PROCEEDINGS

In a first for the Singapore Court Justice Kanan has recognized, in the China Fisheries Group Restructuring a US Chapter 11 plan confirmation order by way of relief after recognizing the US Chapter 11 proceedings under the Model Law. Our Director Ashok Kumar led the arguments with the support of his team, Lim Yin Li, Shu Kit and Gloria Chan.
